Good Monday

I had a good day today. The worst part of it was coming to work late. The best part of it was the overall satisfaction of me being a good girl and eating healthy. I should have gone to the gym, but A) I'm just starting my road to being the best Lizzy possible and B) I went to my grandmother's house today.

I gave her a ceramic dish that I painted when our office went to Joe Picasso's last week. It feels so good to give somebody a gift.

I did actually have plans to go roller skating this evening with my friend but he never called me and when I spoke with him earlier, he didn't sound very interested. (We've been trying to go for weeks now.) It would have been a good and fun exercise. I would have gone to Super Wheels. Monday nights are adult nights and they have very cool music. (Like disco and old school.)

Today I contemplated writing my ex a nasty email, but I then asked myself what would be the healthiest thing for me to do. I concluded that it would be to ignore him. So there. I am not planning on emailing or calling him. I might have another moment of weakness, but for now, I'm casting him away and thoughts of bitching him out. (Oi vey!)

I went grocery shopping and bought all healthy foods. I wish I could plan out my meals for the rest of the week, but I'm terrible at that. It's almost like the moment I decide that I'm having chicken breast with broccoli, I immediately have a craving for fetuccini alfredo. So, I'll start off with baby steps and maybe just plan for the next day.

First, I can't believe you guys went to Joe Picasso's - you didn't do anything cool like that when I was there!

Second, were you going rollerskating with Dileep?

Third, write the nasty letter to the ex, just don't mail it. Very therapeutic, just burn it after.

And finally, those lettuce wraps look yummy! Chicken breast and broccoli is deee-licious! I will post some healthy recipes for you on my blog. The booby chicken, BTW, is really healthy - just use olive oil instead of butter!

Stay good!
